CBSE Bhubaneswar registered 99.31 pass percentage

CBSE 10th results 2014 are out and are available at the official websites after a month long wait.

The Bhubaneswar region (comprising Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Bengal) registered an impressive 99.31 pass percentage. Around 16,781 students from around 250 schools from Odisha had registered for the exam.

CBSE 10th results will be available in the form of grades replacing the earlier system of scores on the form of percentages.

A total of 55,040 students appeared for the exams of which 54,659 passed.

Girls fared better than the boys registering a pass percentage of 99.48 per cent where 22,572 out of the 22,691 girls who appeared the exam passed. .

Of the total 32,349 boys who appeared, 32,087 passed registering 99.19 per cent.

Among schools, the Navodaya group of schools fared the best with 99.94 per cent of its students passing. Of the 3,403 students who appeared, 3,401 passed. This was followed by the private schools that registered a pass percentage of 99.38 per cent. Of the 40,593 students who appeared, 40,342 students passed. The Kendriya Vidyalayas came third recording a pass percentage of 99.22.

A total of 90 of 273 DAV, Chandrashekharpur students, 33 of 203 students in Delhi Public School Kalinga, 62 of 287 students in DAV Public School, Unit-VIII, 13 of 90 students in Mothers public school and 34 of 121 students in SAI International School have scored 10 Cumulative Grade Point Average.

The CBSE Class XII results will be announced next week.
