A new oriya daily “The Prameya” News Paper started its journey from this Thursday. Noted poet and former chief secretary of the State, Ramakant Rath released the first copy of the newspaper. The function was arranged at Convention hall of Siksha O Anusandhan University.
Noted economist Prof. Prabhat Patnaik, Srimoy Kar, Senior journalist Rajaram Satpathy and editor of the news paper Ganeswar Mishra are present there.
Summa Real Media Pvt. Ltd launched this Prameya news paper. Manoranjan Nayak is the Managing Director of the company.

We the people of southern Odisha demanding rail connectivity from Gopalpur (Berhampur) To Phulbani & extended connection with Khurda road-Bolangir railway line.
With warm wish to Hon’ble Railway Minister, expect a best Railway budget 2015-16 for our country. This is our request, please make an attention on our esteemed view on Gopalpur (Berhampur)- Phulbani (Kandhamal) rail connectivity. After 58 years of independence the above area did not get justice by last governments, we are hoping from the present government will realize our problem & full fill our dream to board on rail. To achieve a long pending demand of south Odisha, will get a life in blessing hand of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Damodar Das Modi . We are giving a just glimpse on the above railway project.
1. It will be the life line of Odisha rail route.
2. It will develop the economy standard of Odisha.
3. It will connect Chatisgarh & Jharkhand with Gopalpur port.
4. It will help to grow trading of local products like. Haldi & Ginger and other forest goods.
5. It help to create large employment for Odisha especially from Kandhamal and near by district and hopes it will help to solve the local problem which most of youths can diverted towards employment and business.
6. It will help the to grow the industrialization in this area where lot of scopes but where there is no industry.
7. And also generate good revenue for Railway department.
