KHH group to invest Rs 1100 crore on golf course, hotel in Odisha

New York-based KHH group will set up a world class Golf course and a premium class luxury hotel in Odisha at an investment of Rs 1100 crore.

The group has decided in principle to invest 164 million US dollars in the hospitality and tourism sector of Odisha which is equivalent to 1100 crores of Rupees.

This is the result of Invest Odisha initiative by the Odisha government to attract FDI. Initially, KHH (Kaanan Hospitality Holding) group has decided to develop the project in Kerala.

The group has planned to set up the project near Chilika. “We are planning to develop the project on a 250-acre area between Barakul and Berhampur,” said Darshan Saha, president of KHH group.

The golf course will attract foreign tourists. And many international golf matches will be played there. The five-star hotel will help the players to stay comfortably. The project will help to grow Odisha tourism.
