The results of annual matric (HSC) examination of 2018 published today on 9 AM at the board office in Cuttack. School and mass education minister Badri Narayan Patra declared it.
The success rate of regular students is 76.23%, while the overall success rate is highest in Balasore district. Students in 429 schools have achieved 100 per results while 36 schools in the state have recorded zero results. As per reports, Balasore has recorded the highest pass rate of 88.15 per cent while Malkangiri recorded the lowest at 59.32 per cent.
The number of girl students who have cleared the exams at 2,17,666 are higher as compared to 2,10,129 boys who have passed the HSC board exams. Notably, 1,715 students have passed with A1 grade, 15,689 in A2, 39,252 in B1 and 68,009 students have passed with B2 grade. A total of 1,24,665 students have scored above 60 percent.
The matriculation results are available online on two websites at 12 AM on http://www.bseodisha.nic.in/ and http://www.bseodisha.ac.in/. The students can avail their results as well as mark sheet on the website itself.
Notably, as many as 6,08,031 students had appeared for matric (HSC) examinations at 2,818 centres across the state between February 23 and March 8.
