Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched the official Nabakalebara website (www.nabakalebara.gov.in) and also the digital campaign for Lord Jagannath’s Nabakalebara 2015 on Thursday.
The objective of the digital campaign is to make Nabakalebara a World Event, through an official website, a user-friendly mobile application on Android, iOS and Windows platforms, and extensive social media campaign on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Google Plus platforms.
“The official portal aims at increasing awareness and enabling the devotees, visitors and tourists to find relevant information about the Nabakalebara festival,” the Chief Minister said while launching the website.
The website will have details about Nabakalebara, story of Daru Bramha, role of the sevayats, ongoing rituals, Sreekshetra, the Trinity, tourism and culture.
Besides, the portal will have information on how to reach Puri, places to visit around the town and in Odisha, accommodation details, Nabakalebara news, twitter speaks, videos, photos and information about health, parking facilities and local travel.
The campaign aims at improving tourist engagement, enhance service offerings, maintain the visitor profile and generate analytics for use during the future events.
