Odisha State Film Awards 2013 winners declared

25th Odisha State Film Awards for 2013 year has been announced by Orissa Culture department today.

The ‘Jayadev Award’ will be given to noted director & lyricist Sarada Prasanna Nayak. It is a special award given to a film personality for outstanding contribution to the growth and development of Odia Cinema.

Similarly, director Sabyasachi Mohapatra will get Mohan Sundar Dev Goswami award for his movie ‘Sala Budha’.

Best Playback Singer (Male) – Ratikant Satpathy (Rumku Jhumana)
Best Playback Singer (Female) – Ira Mohanty (Mu Raja Tu Rani)
Best Lyricist – Jiten Mohanty (Sapanara Nayika)
Best Story Writer – Debananda Panda & Barada Prasanna Tripathy (Superstar)
Best Screenplay – Barada Prasanna Tripathy (Superstar)
Best Dialogues Writer – Saranarabinda (Superstar)
Best Art Director – Kunu Bej (Sala Budha)
Best Cinematography (Pramod Pati award) – Om Prakash Mohapatra (Sala Budha)
Best Costume Designer – Bhagaban & Suresh (Sala Budha)
Best Editor – Sukumar Mani (ACP Sagarika)
Best Comedian – Antaryami Panda (Gadbad)
Best Child Actor – Bhumika Dash (Rumku Jhumana)
Best Sound Recordist – Upendra Panda (Dharma)
Best Make-up Artist – Samaresh Pal (Superstar)
Best Choreographer – Raju Sarbhaya (Superstar)
Best Camera Work – Dhrubananda Panda (Superstar)
Special Jury Award – Aswini Bramha (Gadbad), Anshuman (Superstar)
Best Documentary – The Tale of Kolhar (Manorama Sahu, Manas Sahu)

The awards will be given to selected cine personalities on 21 November 2014 in 27 categories. Tele awards will be given on November 22, Culture minister of Odisha, Ashok Sahu said.

Odisha State Film Awards 2013

The Odisha State Film Awards have been conferred by the Department of Culture of the Government of Odisha, India.

The awards were initiated in 1968. The awards are decided by independent juries formed by the Department of Culture. The jury usually consists of eminent personalities from the film fraternity, academician, journalist & public servants.
