Omfed Premium Milk introduced in Odisha with nutritional value
Omfed Premium Milk is a new milk product from the Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation (Omfed) which is introduced for the consumers of Bhubaneswar dairy operational area recently.
The normal packet milk available in the Odisha market has 3% fat and 8.5% SNF (Solid not-fat).
Omfed Premium Milk contains 3.5% fat and 9% SNF, which is highly nutritious for school going children, youth, sports personnel, working men/women and adults, who require more energy in their daily life.

This milk not only meets the requisite nutritional requirement, but also has very good impact on both physical and mental health.
Currently Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Khurda, Jatni, Nimapara and Niali are being covered under Bhubaneswar operational area for marketing the product. Omfed sources said after introduction of the product, tea stall vendors are the bulk consumers, who are preferring it to other brands.
Managing Director of Omfed Bishnupada Sethi said the new product will also be available in all towns of Odisha soon and it has been decided to produce two lakh litres of ‘Premium Milk’ in order to cater to the demand.
General Manager (Marketing) of Omfed Basant Mishra said the production will reach one lakh packets within a couple of days.
