Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik flagged off ‘OMFED Dairy Express’ vehicles in Bhubaneswar. The vehicles will deliver dairy products at doorsteps of customers in 67 wards of the smart city.
The vehicles will carry different food products like sweetened flavoured milk, sweet curd, plain curd, lassi, butter milk, chhena poda, paneer, rabdi table butter, peda, khoa, rasagola, gulab jamun and different variety of ice creams.
The state government will increase the number of the vehicles to 50 in future and other cities like Cuttack, Sambalpur, Puri and Berhampur will be covered under the marketing scheme.
