Vighnanz is Odisha’s first band to compose music for an Odia film. Saroj Sen, Chandi Prasad, G Hrishikesh Prasad, Rahul Garuda, G Durga Prasad and Govind Chandra Jena are the members of the rock band. “Omm” is the movie, directed by Sudhakar Basant starring Sambeet Acharya, Punam Mishra (Anubhav, Barsha in guest roles).
“We have composed seven tracks. It was an amazing experience recording with finest singers of the country like Udit Narayan, Kunal Ganjawala and Babul Supriyo. Besides, we have also recorded with Krishna Beura, Bibhu Kishore, Tapu Mishra and Pami Mishra. Initially, when we started working, we were very nervous and tense since we were apprehensive about whether we would be able to do justice to the offer. But now that the songs have been recorded, we are a confident lot”, they have shared their experiences.
