Babushan Mohanty in a bilingual film
Ollywood love master Babushan Mohanty is all set to act in an upcoming bilingual film directed by filmmaker Sudhakar Vasanth. The film will be made in Oriya and Bengali languages.
Babusaan, who will debut in the Bengali film industry with this movie, said, “I play a fun-loving character who is madly in love with a girl. When the girl ditches him, he plans to seek revenge by killing her. There are lots of twists and turns in the story. The girl’s father plays a negative role and kills the boy’s family.”
Ankeeta Mukherjee, a distant relative of bollywood actress Kajol will play the female lead. The film will be Ankeeta’s Tollywood debut. Jackie Shroff is playing her onscreen father’s role. When asked about her role in the film, Ankita shared, “I play a bubbly, young urban girl — Ruby. She is a rich and spoilt brat.”
It is heard that the film is based on Hindi movie Ek Duuje Ke Liye that had actors Kamal Haasan and Rati Agnihotri playing star-crossed lovers.
The Film’s shooting — which will take place across Bengal and Odisha — will start in Bhubaneswar from mid-March.
