Rating – 3.5/5

Mu Eka Tumara released yesterday. After Miss India, this is Archita’s first film. Sabyasachi is enacting a different type of romantic role this time. Susant Mani is directing a Sarthak’s film after long time. So let us see what the movie has in store for the audiences?

Story

Two close friends, Birendra (Mihir Das) and Pratap (Prithviraj) promised eachother to convert their friendship to permanent relationship through wedding of their son Mahesh (Debasish) and daughter Chitralekha (Archita). Raju (Sabyasachi) is a dumb (unable to speak) boy who works in Birendra’s house and stays there with his mother (Mahasweta). Mahesh’s mother (Usasi) and uncle (Harihara) love Raju very much.

Two families decided that bride’s family will arrive at groom’s firm house before four days of wedding and the marriage will take place there. So Chitra (Archita) with her father (Prithviraj), grandma, mother (Priyanka), uncle (Satyaki) and four friends go there. During their stay, Raju once saved Chitra’s life from one bad boy. From that day, Chitra fell in love with Raju and started to woo him in various ways. But Raju does not want to marry Chitra and avoids her.

So at the end, who will get Chitra – Mahesh or Raju ? if you want to know the answer, then watch the film.

Performances

Sabyasachi acted very well in the film. You may say, Sabya is reintroduced through Mu Eka Tumara.

Archita also performed her part thoroughly. After returning from Miss India, Archita is looking more beautiful in this film.

Debasish is playing another important character here. In some scenes, he could have performed better.

All other artists like Mihir Das, Mahasweta Ray, Bijay Mohanty, Ragini, Harihara Mohapatra, Satyaki Mishra, Priyanka, Usasi Mishra, Lovely etc are fine.

Verdict

Finally, Mu Eka Tumara is a good film with decent acting, nice songs, lavish set and good direction. You can watch this film with your family.
