Oriya Horror Movies made in Ollywood

Like Hollywood, Bollywood and other film industry, there are few movies made in Ollywood based upon horror stories. This tradition starts from 80s with films like ‘Dekh Khabar Rakh Nazar’ and ‘Rajanigandha’. ‘Kandhei Akhire Luha’, released in 90s also earned applauds from audience for its unique horror concept with family drama.

In recent times, odia director Sanjay Nayak made many oriya horror movies based upon different stories. ‘Rakhi Bandhili Mo Rakhiba Mana’ and ‘Tate Mo Rana’ are two of them. Oriya Film ‘Matru Shakti’ and ‘Lal Tuk Tuk Sadhaba Bohu’ also made in this genre. Upcoming first odia 3D movie ‘Mita Basichi Mu Bhuta Sathire’ is a purely horror film directed by Sanjay Nayak.
