Sushant Mani – Director Biography
Sushant Mani is the most renowned director of Oriya Film Industry of recent times. With successive superhit films he cemented his place in Ollywood. Sushant belongs to a lower middle class family. He has struggled a lot in his life. There is no Television in home during his childhood. He has to go neighbour’s house to watch TV programs. Sometimes he has to peep through window to watch his favourite programs.
Sushant Mani is a multi-talented personality known for his innovative editing skills. People came to know him from the album videos, he has edited & directed for Sarthak Music. After doing some albums, Sushant Mani started to work in films as a editor and choreographer. He has written the stories and screenplay of some of his films. Sushant is a master story teller also. In many of his films, he has done that beautifully. He has used many themes for the first time in Ollywood like title song of Most Wanted choreographed like a bollywood film with foreign lady dancers.After watching a portion of some films, you can tell that this is Sushant Mani’s editing.

Sushant’s younger brother Sumanta Mani is doing good work in Mumbai as a choreographer. In Sasu Ghara Chalijibi, Rajashri Productions wanted to introduce heroine Anu Choudhury as Aishwarya Rai in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Sushant Mani has choreographed that scene so beautifully that we still remember the scene today.
