Papu Pom Pom expelled from BJD, Police forms special team to nab Papu

Odisha Chief Minister and BJD President Naveen Patnaik expelled ‘casting couch’ accused Papu Pom Pom from his party today. Party released a press release mentioning this news.

A day after returning empty-handed from Papu’s Khandagiri based house, Odisha’s twin city Commissionerate Police today formed a special team to nab Papu Pom Pom who is on the run following an FIR against him pertaining to a casting couch allegation involving a minor girl.

The Mahila Police have registered an FIR against the comedian and his associate Pradipta Swain alias Gitu under Section 354 (A), 506, 509 and 34 of IPC and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 on June 27 after being directed by the Khordha District Child Welfare Committee.
