PM Modi’s Lingaraj Temple pic ‘most popular photo’ shared by a leader

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s photograph clicked at Bhubaneswar’s Lingaraj Temple in 2017 has emerged as the “most popular photo” shared by a leader for the year, according to PIB.

Notably, PM Modi had visited the 11th century shrine on April 4, 2017 while he was in Bhubaneswar for BJP’s two-day national executive meeting. “Prayed at the Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar. The magnificence of the Temple and Temple Complex leaves a lasting impression on the mind,” the PM had written while posting the photo on social media.

As per the report- “The five most liked pictures in 2017 were all posted by the Indian Prime Minister, including a picture of (PM) Modi receiving a bicycle from Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.”

PM Modi is the most liked world leader on Facebook. The official Facebook page of the Indian Prime Minister’s Office is ranked 4th.

PM Narendra Modi is second in the list of total number of interactions among world leaders on Facebook. The Prime Minister has been using social media to communicate directly with the people of India and the world on a wide range of issues.
