Padma Shri awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik created a beautiful sand art ‘Welcome to Odisha’ at Puri beach. It is a tribute to our beloved state Odisha – the beautiful eastern coastal part of India.
The sand art depicts the famous Chakra of the Konark Sun Temple, the face of an Odissi dancer and the face of a tribal woman. The sand artist’s creation aims at welcoming tourists to the state.
“Please visit and explore #Odisha, the soul of @incredibleindia. My SandArt at #Puri beach welcoming tourists to this beautiful State,” Sudarsan tweeted.
Odisha is endowed with nature’s beautiful creations and is home to a number of ancient monuments and architectural geniuses. Besides these, Odisha is the land of Lord Jagannath, one of the most divine destinations in the country.
Sudarsan Pattnaik, who himself hails from this stunning state, recently created a world record with the Guinness Book for building the tallest sand castle and invited to Bahrain.
