Second Odisha Teachers Eligibility Test (OTET) on 7 Dec 2014
The second Odisha Teachers Eligibility Test (OTET) 2014 will be held on December 7, according to a notification issued by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) today.
Earlier to meet the requirement of teachers, the State Govt after careful consideration have decided to conduct OTET twice in a year i.e. on 1st Sunday of June and 1st Sunday of December of the year.
A total of 93,952 candidates will appear for the test in 207 centres across the state. 50,634 will appear for Paper-I in the first sitting while 43,318 candidates will appear for Paper-II in the second sitting.
The test will be held in two sittings. The first sitting will be held from 10 AM to 12.30 PM and the second sitting will be held from 2 PM to 4.30 PM.
Candidates appearing for OTET 2014, can download the admit card after entering their name, registration number and other details on www.bseodisha.nic.in.
OTET is a compulsory examination for all B.Ed qualified candidates to be considered for teacher’s jobs in schools run by the government and private managements.
