Abinash Parida tops Chartered Accountant (CA) exam in Odisha
Odia student Abinash Parida has got the first position in the Chartered Accountant exam in Odisha and 26th position nationally in the CA examination conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Expressing his happiness over his success, Abinash, a resident of Anala village in Dhenkanal district, said, “I cannot express how happy I am feeling right now. It’s like I am on cloud nine.”
“I would like to dedicate this success to my parents, all the managing committee members of my branch and all the teachers,” Abinash added.

James John Britto of Chennai topped the chartered accountancy final exams conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) held in November and December last year. The results were declared on Sunday.
The final exams contain two groups, and a person becomes a chartered accountant only if he or she clears both the groups. Exams are held twice a year.
The overall pass percentage of students who appeared in both groups in the final exams is 5.75%, which is low compared to other professional exams.
