Amitava Roy : Odisha High Court new Chief Justice

Mr Amitava Roy, now Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court will take over as the new Chief Justice of the Odisha High Court soon.

Justice Roy is likely to take oath on August 6.

Justice Amitava Roy was born in Dibrugarh. He belongs to a family of lawyers. His father Late Anadi Bhushan Roy was a practising Senior Advocate. His Father-in-law, Late Salil Kumar Dutta had been a Judge of the Calcutta High Court.
