Arabinda Muduli Bhajan Samaroh for Odias in Singapore

Arabinda Muduli enthralled Odias in Singapore in a Bhajan Samaroh. Odia Society of Singapore organised socio-cultural and devotional gala program called “Spandan” on 11th November 2017 at National University, Singapore.

The event was a devotional musical extravaganza and included enlightening speeches from key personalities. Three eminent high profile guests of honour were ‘Swararabinda’ Mr Arabinda Muduli, Dr Sambit Patra & Mr Soumya Ranjan Patnaik for this event.

Arabinda Muduli sung live popular Sri Jaganatha bhajans like ‘Jaganatha tume param brahma’, ‘Kala Saante acha kemante’, ‘Odisha ra gelha pua tu kalia’, ‘Pakhala kansa re mora’ and other songs. On audience request, Sri Muduli sang the devotional songs of Gurushri Bhajan Samrat Sri Bhikari Bal like ‘Mun to badadeulara para’, ‘Sathie pauti bhogaru tumara’ and captivated the audience in the auditorium.

Sri Muduli was joined by his music troop of Mr. Jagabandhu Muduli (Tabla), Mr Chintamani Mishra (Keyboard) and Mr Bijay Dixit (Octopad). Ms Kadambini Acharya and Ipsita Mohapatra performed the Singhabahini dance on this occasion. Many young talents also performed a dance at the beginning of the programme.

‘Singodia’ Digital App was launched by Mr Sambit Patra during the event (with assistance of Nabendu Misra). The App is available in Android Store for download.

Singodia Khabara, the Society’s newsletter, was inaugurated by Mr Soumya Ranjan Patnaik. Badminton Tournament prizes were also awarded during the event by Nilamadhaba Patnaik, Subrat Nayak and Dharma Acharya.

The hosts for the evening were Pratyush Hota and Sapna Sahu. Other key committee members like Dr. Sanjib Panda, Soumya Ranjan Singh, DP Samantaray, Deepan Garnaik, Biajaylakshmi Mohanty,Lima Patnaik, Reela Patro, Swagatika Mishra, Bibhuti Mallick, Niranjan Sahoo, Ashok Hota, Soumya Pal and Sushanta Manna helped organize the event.
Sri Sambit Mishra, President of the Odia Society of Singapore, thanked the guests and the audience at the end of the event.
