Barabati to host India-West Indies one-day match
It’s official now that Barabati stadium would host a one-day international match between India and West Indies in October this year.
Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) treasurer Satya Mohanty announced in a press meet yesterday.
The Caribbean team, scheduled to arrive in India on a month-long tour in October-November this year, would play three Tests, five one-dayers and one T20 match.
Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad would be the venues for the Test matches while the one-day matches would be played at Kolkata, Vishakhapatnam, Cuttack, Dhamashala and Kochi.
“Tour Programme and Fixtures Committee of the BCCI would finalise the exact date-wise match schedule later after taking into consideration logistics related issues,” Mohanty informed.
