Stars campaign for BJD, Congress

Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty with Odia actress Elina Dash campaigned for ruling BJD candidates in Odisha’s Koraput district on Thursday.

Riya Dey with a group of Ollywood celebrities on Wednesday campaigned for Congress candidate and sitting Kalahandi MP Bhakta Charan Das.

Anubhav Mohanty, Arindam Roy and other Odia film stars are campaigning for the coming Lok Sabha as well as the Assembly polls.

In 2009, Shetty, along with actress Raveena Tandon, had campaigned for independent candidate Jitu Patnaik in the Champua Assembly constituency in Keonjhar district.

Incidentally, the ruling BJD has roped in several Odia film stars for the coming Lok Sabha as well as the Assembly polls.
