In a bid to provide customised local television channels to the regional viewers of the state, direct to home digital service provider Dish TV India Ltd launched its new brand ‘Zing’ in Odisha.
With Zing, a customer will now be able to choose from a number of exciting packs which will include 13 Odia channels and services.
Besides the content, all Above-the-Line (ATL) and Below-the-Line (BTL) advertising, packaging and other marketing activities will be available in Odia.
The Zing packages available for Odisha are – Shubharambh pack (130+ channels and services) priced at Rs 175 per month, Anando pack (160+ channels and services) priced at Rs 249 per month, Utsav pack (180+ channels and services) priced at Rs 349 per month.
All packs include Odia TV channels Sarthak, OTV, ETV Oriya, Naxatra News, Tarang, Tarang Music, Prarthana TV, Zee Kalinga, DD Odia, Kanak TV, MBC TV, Kamyab TV and All India Radio Odia.
“Zing subscribers are set to feel an altogether new viewing experience with the best and most relevant regional content available at best prices. Also, the essence of the brand is that it celebrates the uniqueness of Odisha- its culture, heritage and entertainment. It is the first ever brand that is made in Odia for Odia by Odia,” Mr. R.C. Venkateish, Chief Executive Officer, Dish TV India said.
With phases III and IV of digitisation round the corner, Zing aims at searching for newer ways of reaching out to specific viewers with innovative contents.
The DTH TV provider would also soon launch Dish Box Office, an expanded movie-on-demand service.
