She bagged the role after emerging the winner in the television audition, Kie Heba Mo Heroine – a program aired on Tarang TV channel.
Elina is quite excited about her debut film. “I was always inclined towards acting and dance and when I was selected in the final audition, it was an amazing feeling! I am really overwhelmed to play the lead opposite Arindam,” said Elina Samantray, adding that she is playing a college girl in Ishq Tu Hi Tu.
