Bahuda Yatra or Bahuda Jatra is the end of Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra at Puri, Orissa. In the year of 2012, Bahuda Yatra will be observed on 29th June. This festival is the return journey of three chariots of lord Balabhadra, Jagannath and Subhadra to Shree Mandir. The chariots visit Gundicha temple and stay in Adapa Mandapa for a week. After it, the chariots return to Puri Jagannath temple on the ninth day & the day is celebrated as Bahuda Yatra.
As part of Bahuda Yatra, three chariots visit Mausi Maa temple where Lord Jagannath along with Balabhadra & Subhadra are offered Poda Pitha (one type of pancake).
Bahuda Yatra 2012 Date is 29 June in Puri Orissa
In this year, Rath yatra or Shree Gundicha date is 21st June & Bahuda yatra date is June 29.
