Odia translation of Gita launched

Justice Bimal Prasad Das launched the Odia translation of the Bhagavad Gita on Monday, published by the Friends of Tribals Society (FTS).

FTS member and prominent businessman Shyam Sundar Agarwal, the brain behind the concept, took three long years to finish the translation which has been done in the ‘Navakshari’ prose format.

Agarwal was assisted by language professor Pramod Kumar Parida.

“The sacred text has helped me a lot in my life as well as my business,” said Agarwal. The translation has been produced in both, print and audio format. They are also planning to make the translation available in villages too.
