The return of Jessy to Sarthak’s serial ‘To Anganara Tulasi Mu’ after her release from jail has created a furor among her serial co-actors, with a main character Dr Meher (Bhagwan Behera) leaving the serial. Some members of the Odisha Television Artist Association publicly criticized the inclusion of Jessy into the serial.

“The court has not convicted me of murder. If Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt can act, then why cannot I? I am not afraid of anyone. I will keep acting,” Jessy said in reply.

The popular serial was facing troubled times after its main character Tulasi played by Jessy was arrested on charges of abetment to suicide of telly actor Ranjit Patnaik aka Raja.

After bringing changes in the storyline she had been replaced by Ollywood actress Lipsa Mishra. But after Jessy was released on bail from Soro jail, she reportedly met the serial director, producer and channel head to take her back.

After considering her case they have called her back into the serial. The storyline has again changed and Jessy has become part of the cast.
