Kali Baba ashram in Koraput raid OTV News Fuse video

Forest department raids Kali Baba ashram at Sauragada near Jeypore in Koraput district for keeping wild animals illegally.

Ashram head Tofan Moanty alias Kali Baba alias Tofan Baba was absconding, police said. During the raid, two porcupines, two boar cubs, an elk, a black-faced monkey, two tortoises and many quails along with horns of boar and deer were seized.

Surprisingly, many weapons like sword, axe and trident and foreign liquor bottles were recovered.

A case has been filed against Kali Baba for keeping wild animals in his premises illegally.
