Odisha CBSE 12th result 2019: Shalini Sheetal emerges topper
Odisha CBSE 12th result 2019 was published on Thursday and Bhubaneswar girl Shalini Sheetal, a student of Unit I Mother’s Public School, has emerged topper.
Sheetal, who is a Science student, secured 98.2 percent marks in the Class XII Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examination in Odisha.
Sheetal said, “I’m delighted to be the state topper in the science Stream. I had never taken any tension as my teachers and parents have helped me in my studies,. I knew that in order to achieve my goals I will need to concentrate. My Goal is to be a computer engineer.
Meanwhile, Ishita Patnaik has emerged as the topper in commerce stream by securing 97.2 (from SAI International School, Bhubaneswar). She told, “I did not study for marks, but I learned each and every part of my books. And I’m very happy to be the state topper in my stream. I knew that in order to achieve my goal I need to concentrate on my subject”.
Two girls from Uttar Pradesh Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora, have jointly secured the first position in Class XII CBSE examinations at the national level. Both the girls have scored 499 out of 500 marks each. Girl students have outscored boys in CBSE Class XII examinations this year.b According to CBSE sources, Trivandrum is the top performing region with a pass percentage of 98.2 percent in the exams this year.
