Yes, Nihar Ranjan Samal from Odisha is the Sound Mixer of Bajirao Mastani.
The project is being touted as the dream project of Bhansali.
National Award-winning sound designer Nihar Ranjan Samal had earlier done some big budget Bollywood films like Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots, Ferrari Ki Sawaari, Tanu Weds Manu, Piku and the critically-acclaimed Madras Café among others.
“Sanjay Leela Bhansali knows what exactly he wants from his actors and technicians and he loves to leave his signature style in each of his film. He interferes only when it is required or for the betterment of the end product,” the Odia sound designer said while expressing his happiness over the way the film has shaped up.
It is worth mentioning here that Nihar Ranjan Samal who hails from Jajpur district of Odisha, had studied in the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune before landing up in the City of Dreams Mumbai to make a mark in the Hindi film industry.
