Odisha girl represents India in Paris Climate Conference COP21

Pranita Biswasi, a native of Jeypore district in Odisha, participated in the Conference of Parties (COP) 21 in Paris representing India as an Asian delegate.

She has given a talk on environment change in COP-21, the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference, as the Lutheran World Federation delegate from India.

She has also attended COP-19 and COP-20.

United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP21 is being held in Le Bourget, France, near Paris, from November 30 to December 11, 2015.

COP is union of 196 countries where delegates of the countries suggest future plans to fight against high carbon emissions. Almost all countries submitted a report on how do they want to contribute towards less emissions.

At the conference on climate change Pranita Biswasi gave a talk on carbon dioxide reduction and the role of government in it. She also spoke about how the next generation can help create a clean environment and a beautiful world.

This is the 21st annual session of the Conference of the Parties to the 1992 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the 11th Meeting of the Parties to the 1997 Kyoto Protocol.
