Odisha Govt to fill up 38834 vacant posts across various departments

Odisha Government has asked various employment commissions of the state to fill up 38,834 vacant posts across several departments.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik took stock of the progress being made on employments for thousands of job opening across various departments and asked the concerned authorities to expedite timely recruitment.

In a high level meeting held at the Secretariat, it was revealed that out of the 78,899 vacancies approved by the Finance Department of the State Government, 72,172 posts belong to the grass root level. While 33,445 posts have already been filled up, the government has asked to fill up another 38,834 posts.

The Chief Minister expressed his happiness over the progress made in employments under compassionate grounds wherein out of the 6,000 applications received, 4,500 appointments have been made.

Chief Minister further directed officials to take necessary steps to resolve disputes pertaining to employment that are currently subjudice in various courts.
