Odisha: Human chain of a foot sets Asia and India books of records

A huge human chain of a foot formed by children in Odisha to mark World Polio Day has set Asia and India books of records.

The initiative was made by Berhampur Rotary Club to create public awareness for polio-free world.

Total 1,729 students of St. Vincent’s Convent School, Vedavyas and Delhi Public School formed the 132×53 square feet-long human chain of a foot at Berhampur stadium yesterday.

The Participants made human chain of a foot just in 34 minute and 13 second and maintained it for five minutes.

The observers from India book of records and Asia book of records — Bhushan Chouhan and Shantanu Chouhan respectively – had attended the event.
