Odisha's Vision 2019 to increase manufacturing, employment

Odisha government has set ‘Vision 2019’ for industrial development to achieve 60 percent increase in manufacturing growth with a year-on-year growth of 15 percent, and 25 percent increase in employment through manufacturing.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said Odisha was building a new future for itself to become a beacon of success and prosperity not only in India but also across the globe.

To achieve this vision, the state government has taken up a number of new initiatives for industrial development, said the Chief Minister inaugurating the 20th Enterprise Odisha event.

He said a new Industrial Policy has been launched recently which is one of the most industry-friendly policies in the country today while a new framework for doing business is in place and a number of business friendly reforms have been implemented in the state to make it easy for companies to do business.

Chief Minister said the new identity is also a testament of the enduring brand of Odisha to attract and support industrial development and the prosperity of its people.
