The cyber crime wing of Odisha Crime Branch arrested a youth in Bhubaneswar for allegedly creating a fake account of a girl on Facebook and posting her pictures taken with him on the social networking site.
Charges under sections 294, 354, 354 (A), 354 (D), 500, 465, 469, 506 of IPC and section 66 (A)/66 (C) of Information Technology (Amendment) Act-2008 have been slapped against the accused, identified as Rajaram Biswal.
Biswal, a resident of Bhimtangi in the Airfield police limits, had befriended the complainant and was later interested in marrying her.

Biswal was arrested and was forwarded to the SDJM court after prima facie evidence was found against him, polce said adding further investigation was in progress in the case.
