Odissi Dashavatar performed by 1600 dancers from Odisha video

On 2nd day of World Cultural Festival, 1600 Odissi dancers from Odisha performed Odissi Dashavatar act together.

Odissi is one of the most famous classical Indian dance forms from the state of Orissa. Odissi is a highly inspired, passionate, ecstatic and sensuous form of dance with a history of almost 2000 years.

Odissi dancers presented Dashavatar, a famous piece of Odissi Dance on the ten incarnations of Vishnu.

World Culture Festival is being organised by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s Art of Living foundation on the 11th, 12th and 13th of March 2016 in New Delhi, India.

The festival is showcasing the rich cultural traditions of dance, music, arts, cuisine from around the world as well as Yoga and the festival hopes to foster a deeper understanding between people of different faiths, nationalities and backgrounds.
