OJEE 2015 exam date announced

Odisha Joint Entrance Examinations (OJEE) 2015 exam date announced by the Employment and Technical Education and Training (ETET) Department on Monday.

The online form fill up of Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) – 2015 for admission into MBA, MCA, MTech and other professional courses will begin from January 15. The last date for online form fill up is March 5 and the admit cards will be available for download on April 20.

The OJEE 2015 examination will be held on May 10 and results are expected to be declared by June first week.

OJEE scores will be used for admission to bachelors degree courses in homeopathy (BHMS), ayurveda (BAMS) and pharmacy (BPharm), masters degree courses in computer applications (MCA), business administration (MBA), technology (MTech), pharmacy (MPharm) and architecture (MArch), postgraduate diploma in management, PGDM, PGCM and PGDM (executive), dual masters degree in applied management (MAM) with masters in computer applications (MCA).

OJEE Chairman Tushar Nath said this year, the dual degree MCA course will not be included in OJEE as no college in the State has requisite affiliation from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to offer the programme.

Post-graduate certificate in management (PGCM), post-graduate diploma in management (PGDM) and PGDM (executive) courses have also been excluded from OJEE.

Last year, about 40,000 candidates had applied for OJEE.

“It is compulsory for the students to produce the admit cards during the examination,” said OJEE secretary Priyabrata Sahoo.

“The candidates must have their own personal and valid email address. They are also advised to have their own mobile number. The candidates are advised to retain the same mobile number and email that they had furnished in the application form as information may be given to them through text or email,” he said.

The government has already taken a decision that candidates aspiring for medical and under graduate courses in engineering courses in the state will have to take the all India examinations.
