Kalpana Oriya Movie on Odissi Dance

Renowned odissi dancer Saswat Joshi is ready to make an oriya movie based upon odissi dance. The film is titled as “Kalpana”. It will be made in odia language, but production team are trying to make it as international standard. Young director Ramesh Rout will direct it.

Three main characters in the film are – Aditya, Arundhati, Anupama. Saswat will play the character of ‘Aditya’, Anu Choudhury as ‘Anupama’ and famous dancer of Italy, Nicoleta Grasso as ‘Arundhati’. World famous odissi dancer Ileana Citaristi will also be seen in an important role. The cinema will create history if made with proper narration and technique.
