Watch: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives in Bhubaneswar

Supporters throng the streets of Bhubaneswar as Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives in Odisha for BJP’s national executive meet. PM Modi gets off his Range Rover SUV, walks up to the crowd and greets his supporters.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Bhubaneswar today afternoon at around 3.30pm. Upon reaching at the Biju Patnaik International Airport the Prime Minister was accorded a grand welcome by several top leaders of the party along representatives of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi and DGP KB Singh.

According to reports, a special Indian Air Force (IAF) carrier ‘Rajhans’ brought Modi to Odisha with SPG men engaged on security. After getting a warm welcome from several party members like Dharmendra Pradhan, Jual Oram, KB Singhdeo, Basant Panda and the new joinee Giridhar Gamang.

After giving floral tributes at the Biju Patnaik Statue on his way to Raj Bhawan square, PM was seen waving at the huge crowd welcoming him on the both sides of the road. People were seen welcoming their beloved leader with chanting ‘Modi Modi’ chants.

It is learnt that, the PM would spend around 45 minutes at the Raj Bhawan before leaving for Janta Maidan to attend the national executive body meeting of the party.

The two-day BJP national executive meet gets underway in Bhubaneshwar on Saturday as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party chief Amit Shah set their sights on unconquered territories ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
