The Association for Odisha Real Estate Developers (Aford) will hold a property expo in smart city Bhubaneswar. Nearly 1000 ready to move-in flats will be on offer.
The annual expo will be held at Janata Maidan from February 3 to 5. At the expo, buyers will be able to avail instant housing loan from participating banks with attractive discounts and even suggestions on interior designing.
Announcing the home expo, Aford president Umesh Pattnaik said this time the participating real-estate developers would focus on providing affordable houses keeping in view the situation triggered by the demonetisation move.
“Demonetisation of high value currency notes has affected the real estate industry. Black money dealings, which were rampant in the sector earlier, is out now and we hope that this has triggered a scenario where we are able to offer affordable houses to customers,” said Pattnaik.
Citizens believe that they well get houses at affordable prices in a situation where demonetisation had forced black money dealings in the sector to stop.
“I hope that the demonetisation drive will bring relief in the real-estate market by decreasing the high prices of home. I am looking forward to the same in the expo,” said a government employee.
