Rebuild Odisha: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launches web portal
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched a web portal (www.rebuild.odisha.gov.in) on Saturday. People can donate funds for various developmental projects in the cyclone-affected areas through the web portal.
The website with the punchline ‘recover, restore, revitalize’ aims at rebuilding Odisha after the ‘FANI’ devastation in the state and has been developed for crowdfunding of various projects in the cyclone-affected areas.
The Chief Minister has appealed to all Individuals, Central and State PSUs, Corporate Houses, Business and Industrial Houses, Banks and Charitable institutions, Trust and other institutions to contribute generously to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, Odisha.
On May 3, Cyclone Fani hit Puri coast causing huge damage to infrastructure and livelihood in fourteen districts of the state. it also battered the State capital, Bhubaneswar.
One can directly make donations to projects such as restoration of schools, provision of shelters, supporting the homeless, distributing, etc.
