Sachin Behera from Odisha creates Guinness World Record

Bringing glory to the state, another Odia boy has officially made it to the Guinness World Records.

Sachin Behera from Odisha’s Nuapada district has created the record in the fastest knee strike category following approval from the authorities.

The 19-year-old set the world record by hitting the objects 137 times with two knees in one minute. The record was earlier in the name of Jayanth Reddy who had hit 115 to his credit.

Sachin is a third-year student in Physiotherapy of Hi-tech Medical College. His father Laxmi Prasad Behera is a teacher by profession while his mother Arati Behera is a housewife.

The event was organised at Hi-tech Medical College and Hospital in Bhubaneswar by Dr Prem Rajan Ojha (Hi-tech sport & Culture Head) and Satyapir Pradhan (Guinness world record-holder).
