Sudarsan Pattnaik’s Sand Art at World Travel Market in London

Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a sand sculpture of Lord Buddha with message “world tourism for peace” during the World Travel Market in London at Odisha Tourism pavilion.

Sudarsan’s sand art attracts a lot of visitors to Odisha pavilion. Pattnaik used 40 bags of sand for this sculpture.

Sudarsan Pattnaik accompanied with Odisha Tourism delegation led by Minister of Tourism and Culture Ashok Panda in World Travel Market (WTM) London.

Odisha Tourism, one of the major partners of India Tourism, which is the Premier Partner for WTM London 2016, looks to promote the diverse tourism product the State offers.

Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Union Minister for Culture and Tourism inaugurated the Odisha Pavilion in presence of Vinod Zutshi, Union Secretary Tourism, Government of India.

While most of the Indian states are participating, Odisha, the Eastern State of India is participating in a big way. Hospitality Major, Mayfair Resorts and Hotels is the only Hotel Group is participating in the WTM.
