Tapan Jyoti Ghosh from Odisha got President’s Police Medal

Tapan Jyoti Ghosh, CBI officer from Odisha got President’s Police Medal from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday.

Now Tapan Jyoti Ghosh is working as Additional SP of Economic Offences Wing in Kolkata.

He is working in CBI for 29 years now. He is the son of Jagat Jiban Ghosh from Lal Bazar, Baripada. He is the only CBI officer from Odisha who got President’s Police Medal this year.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service to 11 CBI officers.

PM Modi inaugurated the 6th Global Focal Point Conference on Asset Recovery and the 21st Conference of CBI in Vigyan Bhawan.
