We have seen Dipan in Mate Bohu Kari Neija and Bad Girl before. Now audience will see him in Odisha’s first period cinema “Jai Hind” in main lead. The film is based on Iram incident which is compared with the Jallianwallabagh massacre of 1919. It was happened in Iram village of Balasore district in 28 September 1942 in which 35 persons had been killed in the firing.

Shooting of this movie started at Cuttack already. Ranjan Mishra is the director.
