Oriya Movies Release in Durga Puja 2012

Like every year, big films are waiting to be released this Dussehra at your nearest theatre. Durga puja is a major festival when people want to enjoy. Thus producers prefer to release their movies during this time. Three oriya films – ACP Ranveer, Parshuram and Love Master are lined up for release in this Puja.

ACP Ranveer, an action thriller, is a big budget film with Anubhav Mohanty in the lead role. It will open in 80 screens across India on October 19. Directed by Sudhakar Basant and produced by Anubhav, the film will also release in Bangalore, Surat, Kolkata.

Sarthak Production’s multi-starrer Parshuram features Arindam, Sidhant and Barsha, the popular silver screen stars. With music by Manmath Mishra, the film looks at reaping profits during the festival season.

The season’s romantic twist comes with Love Master that has Babushan in the lead role, along with Riya and Punam.

Villain characters are also important in these three movies. Pradeep Rawat in ACP Ranveer, Sidhant Mohapatra in Parshuram and Samaresh in Love Master played the bad man’s role beautifully, as per production sources.
