Annie Princee Nag from Jeypore (Koraput) has made Odisha proud by winning the ‘Miss Bangalore’ title on September 8, 2012 in a grand event held at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall in Bengaluru. There were total 15 girls and 15 young guys in the competition from different corners of India. Ms. Annie Nag was declared as final winner and crowned as Miss Bangalore 2012.
Winning the Miss Bangalore 2012 title is definitely a proud moment for Annie, her parents, sister and people of Koraput district. Annie, who completed her schooling from Modern English School, had done her 10+2 from VD College, Jeypore. She is currently pursuing graduation at Oxford College in Bangalore.
This fashion show and competition was organized by Mr. William a choreographer, producer and renowned organizer of fashion shows and competitions in Bangalore. He has his own institute (Infant School of Fashion) to train and groom young models in this field. The final grand event was sponsored by Indian Express, Tv9 and Public TV.
Annie showed great resolve and determination to outwit many contestants from different parts of India, including Delhi, Jammu, Shimla, Hyderabad and Bihar. Annie’s father Ranjan Nag works as the ASI, Police at Padua outpost in Nandapur block in Koraput district. Her mother is working as a primary teacher in Deoghati.
