Odisha Plus Two Result 2016 – CHSE Orissa + 2 Results Date
Results of the Plus Two examinations conducted by the Council for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) will be declared on May 13 – Minister of higher education said.
“Results of all the streams will be published at 11 am. These will be available online from 12 noon,” the minister said.
CHSE sources said results will be available online at orissaresults.nic.in and chseorissa.nic.in, among other websites. Result booklets will be available at CHSE zonal offices in Baripada, Berhampur and Sambalpur, Ravenshaw Junior College, Cuttack, besides CHSE headquarters in Bhubaneswar.
CHSE will issue certificates on the same day of results. “Respective colleges can collect certificates and marksheets of their students from the respective zonal offices the same day,” CHSE controller of examinations Jasobanta Behera said.
The department has also decided to do away with the top-20 list of candidates. However, the results of students securing more than 90 per cent would be published after their copies were rechecked.
Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) sources said results will be available through SMS and on the internet. The candidates can access their results from odisharesults site.
Besides, booklets will be available at the CHSE headquarters and its zonal offices. Around 2.9 lakh students appeared in the examination in arts, science and commerce streams.
This year, CHSE had to conduct re-examination of physics and chemistry papers following leak of questions. The department of higher education has de-listed four colleges that were raided following leakage of Plus Two question paper earlier this year.
The colleges are Lambodar College of Science, Kalahandi, Sandilya College of Science and Commerce of Ainthapalli, Sambalpur, Om Maa Saraswati Institute of Science and Technology, Rajgangpur, and Chaitanya College of Education at Panposh Road, Rourkela.
With the results slated in the last week of May, the government has decided to begin the application process for Plus Three admission from June 1.
According to the department of higher education (DHE) notification, both online and offline applications for Plus 3 will be available from June 1 to June 15. While the first selection list will be published on June 26, admission of the selected candidates will be done on July 1. Classes are slated to start on July 22.
