OJEE 2013 results published
A total of 62,157 candidates qualified for engineering courses under Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2013, results of which were declared by technical education minister Pratap Keshari Deb on Thursday.
Of total 1,02,525 students who enrolled for OJEE, 95,278 appeared for the entrance test. While Bhubaneswar’s Sansit Patnaik topped in the engineering stream, Anuva Aishwarya is topper in women category.
Besides, 19,086 aspirants were selected for pharmacy, 16,822 for architecture, 7,062 for MBA and 2,584 students for MCA courses. E-counselling will begin in the second week of June.
This year, OJEE conducted the entrance for Masters in Applied Management (MAMM) for the first time. Avinash Jena topped the MAM entrance for which only 15 students had applied.
OJEE also conducted the BArch entrance test after a gap of two years in which 16,822 students qualified.
In pharmacy stream, Siba Narayan Padhi topped the test in general category and Sibani Mishra in women category. For pharmacy stream, 19,086 candidates qualified the test.
While Ankit Tripathy is the topper in general category in MBA stream, Banani Sarangi topped in women category. A total of 7,062 candidates qualified the entrance test.
Even as 10,247 students had appeared for the Bachelors in Ayurvedic Medicine stream, only 654 students qualified the test. Similarly, 10,304 students appeared for Bachelors in Homeopathic Medicine but only 654 qualified for it.
More than 16,000 students have qualified the lateral entry entrance test for BTech courses. Jyoti Bikash Prusty emerged as topper in LETech stream.
More than 19,400 candidates from outside the State had appeared for the OJEE this year.
The rank card of the students will be uploaded by OJEE and the candidates can download them directly from OJEE official website.
