Ravi Kumar to get Arjuna award

Weightlifter K Ravi Kumar has been selected for Arjuna award 2011 by Sports Authority of India who won a gold medal in commonwealth games 2010 in 69 Kg category with three games records. He is the seventh sports person of the state to get this award who hails from Berhampur, Orissa.

Now he is at training camp in Patiyala, Punjab preparing for Olympic qualifying. After getting the good news, he has dedicated this award to his mother as her birthday gift. Other six Arjuna awardees of Odisha are
